Lumberjack Drilling Program and Wells

4/27/07 Well is being plugged and abandoned. See letter mailed 4/12/07 for more details.

1/19/07 No change. Well continues to clog with drilling mud. Will continue process of shutting in the well to build up pressure and periodic flowing to attempt to remove the drilling mud.

12/12/06  Well continues to clog with drilling mud. Will continue process of shutting in the well to build up pressure and periodic flowing to attempt to remove the drilling mud.

12/07/2006 Well continues to clog with drilling mud. Will continue process of shutting in the well to build up pressure and periodic flowing to attempt to remove the drilling mud.

11/29/2006 The well was opened up and then was rapidly clogged with drilling mud. Again the well shut in to build up pressure to attempt remove the drilling mud through periodic pressure buildup and flow.

11/21/2006 Well temporarily shut in to build pressure to remove the drilling mud.

11/14/2006 Initial field reports indicate that production is 1.2 MMCFPD at 2100 PSI on a 10/64” choke. We are still unloading drilling mud.

11/08/2006 Workover operations have concluded. The production assembly will be put into place in the wellbore to enable the well to produce.

11/01/2006 Workover work continues. Progress is continuing to be made.

10/26/2006 Most of the coil tubing and the packer assembly has been removed. Progress is continuing to be made.

10/20/2006 Workover rig continues to make progress and the work continues on.

10/17/2006 Workover rig is making progress. Operations expected to be complete by the end of the week.

10/10/2006 Workover rig is still on site. Expected to be finished with operations by the end of next week. Workover complicated by well persistently trying to flow during operations.

9/26/2006 Workover rig brought in to remove Coil Tubing stuck inside the production tubing and clean out the production liner.

9/19/2006 Encountered 5,000 pounds of pressure while performing the coil tubing work. Had to "kill" the well (put enough weighted KCL fluid on the formation to stop the well from flowing) in order to remove the tubing. Currently swabbing the well bore in order to remove the KCL fluid.

9/15/2006 The coil tubing unit is on site and is in the process of removing congealed drilling mud.

9/06/2006 The well was opened up and appears to have encountered a blockage due to either congealed mud or a rock. A coil tubing unit is being brought in to remove the blockage. Expect to be online next week.

8/30/2006 Expected to be connected on the pipeline and selling gas by the afternoon on 8/31/2006 .

8/22/2006 Pipeline still on schedule to be completed by the end of the month.

7/31/2006 Drilling of both laterals had finished. Well is in the process of being completed.  Both the Lumberjack Woodbine and the Lumberjack Austin Chalk are expected to be hooked up to the pipeline around August 31.

7/27/2006 Drilling south lateral at about 2000', with 10-20' flares.

7/18/2006  Completed North lateral with good shows and pressures, and inserted liner.  Drilling curve to initial South lateral.

7/7/2006 Drilling north lateral, with 20' flares, and good pressure and returns.

7/6/2006  Drilling north lateral at about 3,800', flares of 15-40'.  Tripping for new bit.

6/27/2006  Drilling north lateral at about 2000', with 10-15' flares.

6/14/2006 Drilling curve at 14,016'.

6/12/2006  Drilled out cement.  Tripping out of hole to change to curve drilling assembly.

6/7/2006  Ran cement bond log to verify good cement job, with favorable results.

6/5/2006  Cemented 7-5/8" casing at 13,800'.  Tripping to let cement dry and to then trip back in with curve drilling assembly.

5/30/2006 Drilling at 13,364'.

5/25/2006  Sidetrack back to vertical drilling at 10,300'.  Anticipate reaching casing point again in 3-5 days.

5/23/2006  Initiating sidetrack after placing cement plug over stuck drill stem.

5/19/2006  Drill stem stuck at 10,202' while conditioning hole to run intermediate casing.  Attempting to jar drill stem loose .  If cannot accomplish, will need to sidetrack and re-drill the footage below that level.

5/16/2006 Drilling vertical at 13,680'.

5/10/2006 Drilling vertical at 10,343'.

5/3/2006 Drilling vertical at 3100'.

4/27/2006  Unit drilling rig is rigging up on the location to commence drilling the well.

4/17/2006  Unit drilling rig currently rigging down at Paul Bunyan well will move onto location to start drilling the Lumberjack Austin Chalk well.
