B&R Energy LLC

 

B&R Energy LLC (B&R) is a Texas limited liability company, which was organized under the Laws of the State of Texas in February 2001.  B&R is a Barnes Energy Group Company.

The Barnes Energy Group companies are engaged in the exploration, production and syndication of oil and gas onshore in the US.

B&R conducts the private capital activities of the Group through Brookstreet Securities representatives.  B&R enables private investors to participate directly in the wells of the Group along with the Group entities and other industry participants.  All of B&R’s private capital well programs are filed with the SEC in compliance with Regulation D an also filed in compliance with the laws of the state in which investors reside.  Investments may only be made in B&R well programs pursuant to terms of the Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs) prepared in conjunction with the Regulation D filings for each program.  Participation is generally restricted to investors who meet the statutory qualification of an accredited investor.

The Group’s exploration, production, and marketing company is BWOC, Inc. of Bryan, Texas.  As the operator the Bryan Woodbine field—BWOC has produced over 23 million barrels of oil and 37 billion cubic feet of gas.

Working-interest owners of the well production units operated by BWOC have included Texaco, Exxon, Chevron, Getty, Comstock and Torch.

BWOC maintains a continuous drilling program, with a principal concentration on horizontal wells in the fractured carbonates of the prolific Giddings field—the Austin Chalk, the Georgetown-Buda formations.  It, together with other members of the Group and the Barnes family interests, generally maintain large investment positions in each of the wells drilled in the B&R programs.
